MY POODLE CHERI HAS COMPANY
NOW FOR THE REST OF MY POODLES
Our very loved poodle Babette. She lived to be 15 plus years old. We still miss her but Cheri' has become our third darling poodle.
I am a poodle lover. When you view the following photos there will be no doubt. Hang on, here they come!
So adorable! A gift from my cousin.
All my black poodles in my collections are named Babette. This one could use a touch up. :)
Big and small Babette. How cute is that!
Babette, stuffed. Don't leave, it gets better.
I told you it would get better. Is this poodle crazy or what? My sisters gave me the poodle hankerchief. Don't you just love it?
My poodle pillow of pins
This is a poodle pin. I thought of this. Kind of like a charm bracelet, only it's a pin. I think it was brilliant!
PINK, I should have saved this for Beverly's Pink Saturday. How Sweet The Sound.
This poodle's name is Trippy. We had a white poodle, the love of my life, before Babette.
The poodle in the photos are my darling poodle, Trippy. She was so smart everyone thought she should be a circus poodle. She walked on her hind legs like a person. She followed me all the time, walking upright. It was so weird. She really was a person. My mother added her to her grandchildren Christmas list. No kidding! The other dog owners in my family were a little jealous, but they thought she was a person too. We only had her for 10 years, Sob, it broke my heart. But, then came Babette, she became a person too. Imagine that!
My mother-ln-law had a poodle too. Her name was Precious and she looked like this.
We, loved her too, but she wasn't a person.
Last, but not least, my poodle skirt. There are definitely 'oodles of poodles' here. This is not where my poodles usually live. They have a home in my bedroom on a shelf. A BIG shelf. I hope you are not bored to death. Remember we are talking about people here.(smile) So be careful what you say
Note: This is a repost from June 2008. We are in Florida and I hope you don't mind a repost today.
Love,
JEANNE
Good morning, my dear friend. I probably don't need to say a word. You well know that I am a poodle lover from way back.♥ I was thirteen years old when we got our first poodle.
Missing you. Call me. Sheila told me you had lunch. How fun.

What a great poodle presentation. I have seen some of these figurines over the years. The real one is the best tho. Take care and glad you are home.

I would NEVER get tired of looking at your poodles Jeanne, you know that don't you? I see we have the same sweet white with attitude ceramic poodle, ummm I wonder where I got mine from?? lol
You had lunch with Sheila?? OMG. I hope all is well with her.
I have to call the cemetery to see where we are meeting tomorrow. Sister will make her way to Rockaland, Colt will pick her up, bring her here, where Randy, Riley and I will jump in and drive to meet Brittany, Deb and Bill. Sister want's my mom's prayer beads to be placed with her. I'm writing a letter today, rolling it up with pink ribbon and putting it in her grave. I'm writing one for my dad too.
Ok that's enough of that.

Oh, I too love poodles! Our grandchildren have a fun black and very active Jasper, who delights them. We lost our sweet Apricot poodle Moby a few years ago and I don't think you ever forget the unconditional love they give give. My sweet mom had to leave her precious white, Sadie when we moved her to Utah last year. Cheri is beautiful! I remember when you first got her. Thanks for your visit while I was away!~♥

Hi, Jeanne!
Loved all of your poodle pictures! And that Cherie is so cute she looks like a stuffed animal. LOL!
Now, why am I not surprised that your poodles are like people??? You sure have had some pretty ones, my friend. My sister had one we loved named Hershey. He was a chocolate teacup who grew a little larger than teacup size, and he thought he was a guard dog. LOL! He's done now, but he is well remembered.
I loved our lunch and love you, too. I have something crazy to tell you, but I will email all the details.
Love you...
XO,
Sheila

(Hardcover) Excellent book that shows exactly how to bathe, groom and clip Show & Pet Poodles. Nice ilsnltratious and pictures for all of the poodle clips. Includes what scissors, clipper, shampoos and other grooming aids to buy. After using this book, I had the confidence to buy professional clippers (I am an amateur) and clip my own Standard Poodle (whom, btw, looks terrific!). I first learned of the book from the library and told my husband we had to own this! *I wish that every breed of dog that needs to be groomed had such an excellent book as this!*
