GREAT AFTER CHRISTMAS BARGAINS
I have a hall tree that I love. It is vintage and it was made in England. I always enjoy doing something special to decorate my favorite piece of furniture for Christmas.
This is different from last year and I am enjoying the change.
I bought the Christmas ball wreath for half price at $15. The canes are all vintage. A fun collection. The Longaberger basket holds our Christmas cards.
This was not a bargain. HA! I bought it many years ago.
CHRISTMAS IN THE GUEST BATH
The best bargain ever...FREE. A beautiful porcelain soap dispenser.
Yes free, and brand new. The soap dispenser thingy was broken. I had one that fit in my home. This pic is hard to see but the price was 15.99 and the red ink says free. I found it in the clearance area in a big Christmas store. Oh happy day!!!
My guest bath counter.
The glass and matching soap holder is from Good Will. Made in the USA and from the 50's. $2.
The color is a bit weird because I took this pic at night.
The little squirrel was a gift and the holly a Good Will find for $1.
Christmas is a festive time of the year in almost every room in our home. I am sharing Christmas for the rest of this week.
Christmas blessings,
JEANNE
Jeanne, your hall tree looks so pretty. I really like it this way. In fact, everything looks wonderful.

I still can't get over how much our hall trees look alike!! Mine is decorated, too, but I haven't posted it.....if I have time, I will!! Yours looks great! I have a bunch of old canes I've picked up, too. My plan has been to paint them like candy canes to display at Christmas. Haven't gotten that far, however!! :) Your other decor is great, too. Good eye on that soap dispenser.....free is awesome!!
Hint on the mix....you might add a bit of garlic powder or maybe garlic salt to add a little more zip to it. I bought more ingredients to make a second batch....thought the gr. girl would enjoy helping me with that if I have them here before Christmas. My DIL is still hanging in there. She's miserable, but making the best out of it. She still has shopping to do....I told her to send our son out after he gets off work ...he'll knock it out really fast. Guys have a way of doing that! I also told her I'd go get stuff she wanted. I wouldn't be out there, 9 mo. pregnant, mixing with the other shoppers. :)
Today is wrapping day for me. I thought it was gonna happen on Sun. and it didn't , the I thought yesterday afternoon and evening...and it didn't. Today it is!! Have fun making the mix...Paula comes up with the most awesome recipes.
Happy Christmas Week Tuesday. L, Dana

Everything looks so pretty Jeanne. I know you put a lot of work into your decorating and it shows and I love it all.
I'm tired, but I'm waiting for Randy to fall asleep. He's just had the worst day today. He's been bad. We are expecting freezing rain tonight and I think his joints are feeling it. He hasn't been this bad in a couple yrs. Poor baby. I'm taking it easy too. I've got Colt's lazy boy at my computer instead of that hard chair.
Well the count down is on, that's for sure. I have nothing ready. I guess I will go out Friday and get what I need.
Bella and little degu go to the vet tomorrow.
Julie is in Mexico tonight. I'm sure she will have a blast.
Ate the shortbreads from one of the boxes today. OMG. Really really good Jeanne. You're making me FAT!!!! but I love my gifts.
And you, and Bill and Cheri'.
