Thank you Sally for our Blue Monday fun.
I pray you are feeling stronger each day.
I am sharing a wonderful auction purchase today. This was a wondeful find for very little money.
It was a box lot for $5.
This nativity is German and I love the pieces. The detail is wonderful. I am looking for a creche so I can put these pieces in a place fitting for this set. I have a feeling I will have to have one made.
I love the baby Jesus.
Happy Blue Monday
Love,
JEANNE
Jeanne, That really is a treasure to find! The colors and details on each piece are beautiful and it is so complete. I don't think a creche would be too difficult to make. Have a wonderful week!

Darn, I wish I would have known. I would have sent you my extra one. It's pretty big. It was my sisters. I still have my mom's that I prefer. I don't have room for 2 let alone one.
All is quiet here. Gloomy day again. No snow, just mushy ground. YUCK...
Visited with Sister yesterday till 8pm. We had fun. I had my iPad and we were on blogs and fb. She's fascinated with it all. We even made a little crafts. We ate downstairs all alone. We were like kids. Toasted bagels with peanut butter and cream cheese, bananas, yogurt, cherios. I just wish we had our P.J.'s on, lol.
Julie was baking a zillion butter tarts last night. OMG. She had them everywhere. SHe makes good ones too.
Have to get Brittany's gifts wrapped and blog ready for tomorrow. Randy and I are surprising her at her office. She's having a big party on Sat. with her friends.
Colt's bd is Sat. Lot's going on.
Hope you are getting all your things done. You are on a countdown too.

My sister has about 6 different nativity sets...each one unique.
You may be surprised to know, that this country girl has a nativity set too...........
But it is all Indians. Very non-traditional, but I love it. Instead of a stable, it has a tee-pee, a buffaloe, a donkey, a lamb, Mary and Joseph are and Indian maiden and Indian Brave, and baby Jesus, is in a little wooden cradle.
see........told you it was different.
I wanted to get more pieces...but I haven't found it anywhere...........I bought it a long time ago.

What a wonderful find, Jeanne!!! I hope you find your manger, too!
It snowed a little last night...just a dusting, but still snow! Ugh....not ready for that as I have too much to do!
I did get to hit the mall a bit yesterday, but only came away with two items for me....no gifts for others! :) Actually, I got some boots and some jeans which I really needed, so that was OK. Then I went to the gr. store...hadn't been since before TGiving...that cost a bundle. THEN I gassed up my empty car....also a bundle, but at least the price is down to 2.96..AND I got 20cents off a gallon cuz I spent so much money at the store! :) THEN I went to exercise class...so my day was GONE. I hope to shop a bit this morning before my hair appt., then perhaps again after that. I have to get my Grands gifts lined up for sure...the new baby is due any time. The official date is the end of Dec., but I'm certain he'll arrive well before that.
Gotta get moving.....hope you have a great day!
