WELCOME TO "MY"
I am totally thinking pink today. Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound, is hosting Pink Saturday for the most fun Blog Party of the week This pink is powerful stuff. I for one, am loving it. It seems that the numbers are close to 200 Pinkies or more that participate each week, and they are loving it too. You go Beverly!
SILVER AND GOLD
This year I completely changed my mantel and used silver and gold for the most part. I love the way it looks but taking these photos at night just doesn't do my mantel justice. The mirror is definitely a problem but I will share my photos and hope you can see the charm of my siiver and gold vision.
The mirror reflection is not a help when I am trying to get a good photo to share.
A bit of pink to share.
I put a few on my angel ornaments in the sleigh. There is a snowman in the Cloche and the angel plate belonged to my MIL.
Today is my big party day so I will catch up with everyone ASAP. Thirtyfive people will arrive for a party in our home. It is potluck so that means we will have a huge variety of delicious food and the pleasure of visiting with friends.
WISH YOU WERE HERE!!!
Happy Pink Saturday.
Love,
JEANNE
You have great vision. Love your home and the way you have it decorated. I would have a heart attack if I had that many people at my house. Lord help you!

Happy Pink Saturday, Jeanne. I am sure you have a house full of company right about now. And, I know you are having a great time.
Your mantel looks so pretty. I love all of the sparkle and glow. It looks like a winter wonderland.

I love silver and gold together...and I think your mantel is beautiful! Our photos never do our Christmas decor justice.
Your little Nell Hill's cloche is adorable with the snowman inside!! I finally got one of those (cloches) at Sharleen's shop sometime after our NH trip! I've really enjoyed using it!! Your sleigh full of angels is super cute!!!
Oh my...what a huge party you had!! I know everything was lovely and tons of fun!
My annual Progressive Luncheon and Holiday Homes Tour is this Friday. I hope my DIL hangs in there til after that's happened. I really look forward to doing that each year. My house is first...with me to serve a little breakfasty item. I'm glad I'm first, cuz the sun won't be shining in at that point....I will barely be able to get the decorating done...major cleaning will have to come at a later date! :) I finished relighting my trees on the frt. porch and sprucing up the wreath that hangs out there, made stew and now am about to work on our "real" tree. The lights are all on (no help to Twiggy!!!) so it's time for the vintage red balls!
My hubby is baby sitting the grands tonight....so I have a little alone time to decorate and watch what I want to on TV...the football noises are driving me NUTS!! :)
Have a great evening!!!
L, Dana
