Thank you Sally for hosting blue Monday so faithfully. I always wonder if I can possibly find another blue thing to post but so far so good. I enjoy this event so much. Please visit Sally's blog for lots more blue at, Smiling Sally.
WINTER MOUNTAIN SUNSET
I was visiting my sister today and when we went outside to come home, this is what we saw.
My sister lives in town in an area called Town Mountain. She has beautiful sunsets there. We live in the mountains 16 miles away and we have a view that gives us a beautiful sunrise. On the west side of our home the mountains are so high we never have sunsets like this.
Thank goodness I had my camera with me. By the time we drove our of the driveway this gorgeous sunset was faded to nothing.
Have a blessed day
JEANNE

It is gorgeous, Jeanne. I am so glad you had your camera.
It's too cold to get dressed and go to work today. I really wanted to stay under the covers.
Love you.

Gorgeous picture, Jeanne!!! You NC folks do have amazing views!!!
Hope your New Year thus far has been good....mine has been. No major set backs, injuries, illnesses (that I know of), or bad weather....so that's a great start in my book. It was nice enough to take the Gr. Dog out for a jaunt around the neighborhood this morning. She gets so excited when I start to put on my tennis shoes...then she's wild when she sees me get her leash/collar out of the drawer. Such sweet little things in life that lift a person's spirits! :)
I HAVE to go to the store today....haven't been since Christmas. I went 3-4 times that week and spent a small fortune preparing for the holiday weekend. Glad I did, but it was tiring and costly! :)
Have a great Wednesday!!! L, Dana

Hi Happy New Year! Yes that is a lovely sunset. I also live on the 5th Floor facing west and I always have lovely sunsets which are just like finger prints, meaning no 2 sunsets are alike, and they change every few minutes. In our home in the province we also only have sunrise like you, because our back are mountain ranges. You and I are so blessed for having beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Don't you agree?

Wish i could've been to this joint Ron Trent has made his presence in the A felt more than a mlioiln times over. Great djay great FroLaborator with his crowd at hand and knows his records like the back of his hand. Hard core house heads may say i'm blowing smoke but, i've just been blessed enough to always catch him at his best sorry yall but long live dope house music.
