Happy Pink Saturday Jeanne Sweetie...
What a gorgeous post. I love this beautiful find from
your local thrift store. The colors is perfect for the
occasion, and how pretty the little dragon flies and
butterflies are in the special squares. My kind of find.
3.00 - that is a steal for sure. Squealing all the way
to the register.
I am always searching for them as well. (I purchase
the lap size and crib ones for table cloths for my table.
They are perfect and so festive.)
Have fun with the family this weekend. Hope to see you
soon. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

How CHARMING!! What a sweet quilt---suitable for going in so many color schemes, and for almost any age "room" as well.
I've got to get registered with that LINKY thing, but rest assured, I'll join you soon. It's always so good to see you chime in at LAWN TEA, and I love your comments---all your own memories of similar things. I think I almost qualify as one of your several Sisters.
And I came over early today, to look and see if I could find an index to your posts---I was gonna ask to borrow a pic of your "rooster day" post, or at least LINK to it. And I find that YOU, TOO, didn't start your own collection!! Isn't that funny?
Hope all is well with all of Y'all---you'll be tripping over AIR tomorrow, after all those chillun are gone away, after what a good time you had.
love and,
rachel

Yeah, it's possible to take time off and still have a good long ride. Last year at DMD, I hadn't ridedn, count 'em, for 20 days, and ended up having the strongest, best double of my life! There are so many variables...I suppose the pro's who can afford expert pro coaches have it all dialed in for what works for them, but I have no explanation other than getting some rest before the ride must have been a big factor. So many of us show up over-trained with tired legs! The SFR Two Rock/Valley Ford 200K was a great ride Saturday. Conditions were exceptional for this time of year in Marin County. Morning hours got down to 41 degrees but it warmed up to 73-77 for most of the afternoon...but wow, what a difference it makes when the sun goes down! I arrived at the finish just before sundown and boy did it turn cold in a hurry.Hope you consider joining us on a future brevet, Pinkie. I know you will thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie, the stunning scenery, and the long-distance achievement! Come join us, soon! -cb
