Pink Saturday hosted by my dearest friend Beverly at, How Sweet the Sound, is a day for all Pinkies to show their pink. I am proud to be a Pinkie and if you consider yourself to be a Pinkie too, visit Beverly's blog for Pink madness. You will have fun, I guarantee it personally.
BOWLING LEAGUE FUN
What does this have to do with pink?
Check this out...
This is about bowling awards...mine
Yippee, all of a sudden I started bowling well and I am the worst bowler on our team.
I think the bowling fairy has been sitting on my shoulder.
Check this out...
I won these with a 181 game and a 508 series.
Please forgive me for bragging but I am so HAPPPPPY!!!
BIG smile going on here.

Garden club news. I am the president of our local garden club and it was my duty to put our membership yearbook together. The cover is pink. (my choice cause I'm a Pinkie first and a garden club member 2nd. HA!) It is 18 pages long and we have 56 members. Think over 1000 printed pages. I loved the challenge but I am glad it is done.
Pretty in Pink
Please forgive me for bragging again. Smile.
The garden club meets once a month at a lovely restaruant and it is my turn to do the table centerpieces. I found flower pots at the flea market for$1. each and this is what I did.
I love these so much.
I will share the finished centerpiece next week. Think bunnies and candy.

The perfect poodle...Cheri' Our darling little girl.

Whatever it is that gives you so much energy to do all the things you do, I would love a train load. I have been in my yard all morning, and now I am worn out. There is nothing worn with tooting your own horn. Belive me if I won something all blog land would know about it. I am happy for you.

I bow in honor of THE BOWLING QUEEN!!! What a wonderful accomplishment!! I would be shouting that good news from the rooftops..or mountain tops in your case! HA!! (did you like my HA?) Good for you.....and I'm sooooo proud of you!!
Your garden club books had to have taken hours to complete...kudos to you for doing such a fine job on that big project, too!!
I love your centerpieces, Jeanne. Looking forward to more photos!
Little CC looks like a pampered poochie princess!! I chuckled at all of her toys....we have that look with all of the things Twiggy likes to drag around the house....then Izzie comes over and we have three PINK tennis balls and an assortment of chew bones that she wags around. Gotta watch where you step around here!
Bonnie, Marian and I attended an amazing flea market today....the 2 nd one the promoter put on. I know him and he asked if I want to do the next one in Sept. and I think Bonnie and I will do it. Gotta think about the best way for us to approach it. It's really tempting...and fall shows are always good.
Got my first 5K run in the morning...I'm still stuffed from our sinful lunch, but decided I needed some healthier carbs and proteins in my body for fuel in the morning, so I'm eating cereal with milk, protein powder and strawberries! :P Gotta get ready for bed....this was a fun packed day!
HPS......L, Dana

Hi Jeanne,
Congratulations on your bowling awards! I love to bowl, but my husband isn't too keen on it. It's one of the few things I can do better than him. :)
I LOVE your flower pot centerpieces you made for your garden club lunch. The pots and the pink flowers are so pretty!
Visiting from Pink Saturday -- hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Perfectly pink post, Jeanne!
I love the centerpieces.
Congratulations on your bowling awards! Jim and I met, through a mutual friend, at the bowling alley where he bowled leagues on Wednesday nights. We always tell people we met at the "bowlin' alley" and we always get a funny look until we explain how it all came about, 30 years ago. Jim was a pretty good bowler and enjoyed for many years until they stopped doing leagues. We went to state tournaments, etc. Fun times.
We are headed to the lake, this afternoon, after Miss Gabi's soccer game. She is going along...it's a surprise. She is the one grandchild we know positively would move in with us in a heartbeat.LOL She wanted to stay with me when Jim was in hospital, but she had school. So we put this little trip together. She loves the lake and loves to fish. We are having wonderful weather and someone caught a 15.5 inch crappie the other day. Had the photo on facebook. We don't know which side of the lake or which cove, but Jim is ready to try for a "mess of fish".:-)
Happy Pink Saturday!

I used to bowl....a million years ago and still have my "bowling Queen of the Week" badge. :) That score is fantastic! Happy Pink Saturday Jeanne. I know your state is just as beautiful if not more as Virginia is right now. xo

Oh sweet little CC. Our Wendy is funny isn't she Jeanne? Silly people asking for that special left handed burger. That wouldn't happen in Canada, lol.
I didn't know you won thise awards? WOW, GREAT JOB, YOU ROCK, BRAVO. I'm so darn proud of you gf.
Glad your garden club book thinky is done too. One more thing off your plate. LOVE the sweet flower pots. When did you do all that???
Now, as my official birthday month comes to an end : ( I have to think of a good joke to pull on the boys tomorrow being April fool. I see something on your side bar about the top 100 hoaxes to pull.
Had a lovely day with Randy today in Ottawa. We ate at a nice Italian rest. Then walked around the cute street in the sunshine.
Can't wait to wear my necklace and earrings.

Congratulations to the best bowler I know. Heretofore I have only known gutter snipes. I am active in my garden club as well. I know you are doing a difficult job but I see that you are quite in the "PINK" with that job. Hugs,

I'm only hoping that now that Jeanne has reached such loft heights with her bowling that she doesn't get a better bowler to replace me. :)
Just kidding, I'm really proud of her.
