My friend Cami at First Day of my Life, is hosting Thankful Thursday. I am happy to join her blog party because being thankful is so important to one's happiness in life.

MY MORNING COFFEE IS A BLESSING
I live for my first cup of coffee in the morning. It makes me smile and yes it makes me feel peaceful. Everything is right with the world as I pick up my computer lean back in my recliner and slowly savor a delicious cup of Donut House coffe.
This wonderful brew comes from my lovely and well loved Keruig coffee maker. We have had lots of coffee makers in the past 49 years. (Oh yeah, we just celebrated 49 years of marriage.) This coffee maker is so loved by us that we race to my kitchen in the morning to make our coffee. My darling husband loves making coffee and selecting what flavor he wants so drink each day.
This is coffe love and it almost matches our love for eah other. I'm kidding ...kind of!
Good morning coffee maker. Did I tell you I loved you today?
Did I tell you how thankful I am to have you in our home?
Hmmmm, which flavor will it be today...
Note: This post is not a commercial! HA!
Just a simple cup of coffee is better than a pill to calm one down.
I am so thankful for my wonderful 49 years of marrage to a wonderful man.
I am thankful that our five children our loving caring adults.
I am thankful that their grandchidren will one day be just like their parents.
I am thankful that I was lucky to have loving parents that raised me in a loving home.
My mom loved her coffee in the morning just like me. Or maybe I am just like her. If I am than I know all is right with the world because she was a loving Christian women that I admired and loved dearly. I am so thankful that the steadfast love of my mom has inspired me to be all that I can be.
Wishing you a thankful sunny day.
Love,
JEANNE
Morning, Jeanne, and I have a suspicion you've had your cup of coffee! I'm not a coffee drinker but Mr. Precious is. I'm having my Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper! That's my coffee.
Have a wonderful day.
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)

I think I'm gonna put that on my "list" that everyone's asking for for Mothers' Day---it will be the ONLY item, for everybody. I've been holding off getting one, because my mind jumps to "When we have a crowd, how LONG will it take each person to make their cup, or Me to make a dozen cups, one at a time, as breakfast is going on?"

Give me a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and I am ready for the day. I hate to depend on it but truth is truth. Carmen

You come up with the greatest things, as I gulp my cold Starbucks Frap. Yes it's 2:20pm. Had a terrible night, but all is well now.
I better get my act together soon. I have to get my hair cut, my nails done, my toes again cuz they chipped already ; (
Not sure what to pack. Hot, cold, rainy, flashing yikes.
Need help, lol.
LYTTMABA
P.S. We have one of those coffee makers too. Never use it. Another gadget in the basement, lol.
I'm glad you LOVE yours. Thanks to Beverly ; )

Well, I'd say your mom did a RIGHT FINE job of you my sweet sista gal. I think that is the mission of every parent in the world (ever "caring" parent) to have their kids grow up in the manner we tried to raise them. All those values we deem important.
That's what I think.
and besides.......I sure did enjoy my little knock on the motel door, every morning, as your smiling face brought me my coffee.
That was a great happy start to MY DAY too.

Stopping by from First Day of My Life!
I'm a huge coffee fan. (Only decaf for me now, expecting my first little one) I'm pretty curious over the Keurig. We just got a nice coffee maker, just before the Keurigs got real popular, so I'll have to stick with that for now.
Thanks for sharing your list. :)

I love coffee first thing in the morning, too, Jeanne. We received a Keurig coffee maker for Christmas and I must confess....I'm not crazy about it. I think the coffee tastes 'funny'. I've tried several of the different kinds that came with it...plus I even bought the little basket that you can use to put your own coffee grounds in it (this saves big time on the cost of the individual prefilled cups), but I still don't think it tastes very good. I first tried it at two different friends' homes....and wasn't impressed then....and then we were surprised by the maker as a gift later. I have to say, that I am not a fan of strong coffee...and I feel it makes the coffee really strong. SO.....I make a cup....then put half of it in another cup, fill it with water and heat it in the micro!! That deserves a HA!! :) My hubby does use the Keurig, so there is one fan of it in this house! :) Another gripe I have is that it takes up a lot of counter space....OK I'll stop complaining about it. It was very nice of the giver to present us with that.
I'm glad you love yours, Jeanne, cuz that's what counts. I will make you some coffee with it when you come in June....you can be the judge!! :)

I think almost everyone starts the day with a cup of coffee. I think of it as my fuel for the day. I can’t live without it and my day will not start well if I haven’t had that first cup.
