LUNCH WITH MY BLOGGING FRIEND AND HER HUBBBY AT THE BILTMORE HERE
On Saturday Bill and I met our friends that we have met through Blogging at the Bistro which is located at the Biltmore Winery in Ashville, NC. The Biltmore Estate is the largest home in America. It is open to the public and a fabulous place to visit. We have annual passes and visit several times per year.
We met Penny , Lavender Hill Studio and her husband Kent for lunch and a had a lovely visit and meal at The Bistro Pub.
We took a few photos to share with you.
Kent and Penny
Penny and Jeanne
Penny, Kent and Bill had the lobster roll and I had chicken salad on greens.
Delicious
Mmmmmmm.
Then we were off to the gardens. We only got as far as the garden store because it was raining. Sigh! We had a grand time shopping and taking a few photos to share.
This was the first thing I saw as we walked into the court yard of the garden store.
You gotta love that blue.
HAPPY BLUE MONDAY AND OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY
Love,
JEANNE
Wow, Looks like a great place and a great day...Hope I can get there one day. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Blue Monday, dear Jeanne. I'll be leaving for work as soon as I write you this note.
I am so glad the four of you had a nice visit. And, the garden shop looks as if it was filled with treasures. I love the bluebird welcome.

All that bright cheer on your faces could never be dampened by a little RAIN! Just sitting and talking in that lovely setting, with a faraway friend, is such a pleasant thing to contemplate.
And annual passes! You're practically a neighbor!
love,
rachel

Weren't we just talking about Lobster rolls??? Funny.
I didn't know you were going to meet sweet Penny? NICE. Part of your Anniversary presents. WOW.
Of course the Biltmore is fab in it's own sweet light, but add some blogging friends into it and it becomes a bright star.
Sorry it rained on your parade, but you never let that bother you Jeanne. You always look on the bright side of everything.
Just think, only 11 more sleeps, yahooooo

Oh we love Biltmore! It is such an awesome home. We live in the Nashville area and love to go there. We haven't seen at Christmas though and look forward to going and seeing it all decked out for the holidays. The food looks so delicious.

That place is a masterpiece. I wonder who's job it is to cut the lawn. The next time you go there - you should take his picture. I bet he has some stories for ya Jeanne. That blown glass water feature is sure pretty. Ah... the trickling water.
Just popping in to say hi. Haven't been on for so so long.

Hi Jeanne! Oh, I've always wanted to see Biltmore, maybe one day! How sweet to get to be with Penny and her hubby!
Yes, I want to see you when you come to Houston. I'd love to have you come to Galveston if you'd like! Bring the hubby and we will have lunch somewhere! Our guys can get to know each other! I'm just getting chill bumps thinking about it!
Oh, I have a slew of lypomas in my arms and legs. They grow and are very rarely anything but sometimes one decides to hurt. I have many more but these two I had chopped out were hurting like the dickens so I got them chopped out! I have so many scares on my arms and legs from getting these booger removed. My dermie has suggested I go to a doctor who does lyposuction and take them out that way. I really do have lots of them.
I'm fine, just have to be a little easy with my arms because I have some little stitches.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

whoopsie I put the wrong URL for my Blue Monday...so sorry :-(

I wanna go too! Wah! Actually I heard that the crowds that turn up for these has tilpred or something in the last year with long lines going round the blocks. But don't get discouraged. I'd just suggest getting there really early, have your beach chair handy (remember no tall chairs) and bring a blanket to spread out, sized according to how many people in your party.
