Thank you Sally for our Blue Monday fun.
A MAN MADE EASTER TREE.
THOUSANDS OF EASTER EGGS ARE HANGING FROM THIS TREE.
It is not flowers.
Retiree Volker Kraft decorates a tree with 10,000 Easter eggs his garden in Saalfeld, Germany March 21, 2012. (AP)
Germany - You thought Easter eggs don't grow on trees? Check out Volker Kraft's garden in eastern Germany, and think again.
Kraft's apple sapling sported just 18 eggs when he first decorated it for Easter in 1965. The number increased year by year; and by last year, the sturdy tree was festooned with 9,800 eggs, artfully decorated with everything from sequins to sea shells.
You may have seen this before but I haven't.
I am in awe of such an undertaking.
Happy Blue Monday
Love.
JEANNE
Oh, My. Such an undertaking, indeed!! I cannot fathom how he gets them all on without toppling another bough. And surely they're not REAL eggs, do you think? If he's adding to every year, perhaps the word has spread and other people enjoy contributing beautifuls of their own.
We hope to put our Tree-Cup Tree together in a week or two, when the yard guys get all the Spring recovery and rehab done.
love to all a Y'all!

I did see this on fb Jeanne, but didn't know anything about it. Now I do. Just showed Randy WOW. How cool is that for him to be recognized all over the world for this beautiful tree.
Are you back home now? it's a grey day today, but yesterday was so nice. I cooked for the boys. Sister Lolotte was very sick all Easter weekend. She couldn't even attend church. Poor thing. They believe the nuns got food poisoning. She sounds better today, but I wanted to take her to the Titanic Wed. I hope she's better next week to take her. She said she now knows the feeling that I was having with my tummy.
I'm meeting my friend Isabelle tomorrow for coffee, then my sister Deb for some therapy shopping, lol. I can't eat, but I can surely shop, lol. I've been on liquids for a week tomorrow already. I'll start introducing food slowly but surely. I've lost 6 lbs. and hopefully will loose the other 3 I've gained. Not a great diet, but needed it for my problem. Good old Doc. Frid ; )
