You know the Dalai Lama is coming to Ottawa this month?? I know weird huh?? I think he would be very interesting. Maybe Sister would like to hear him speak, but I think it's sold out.
So I guess I better get out of bed and do something today huh???
It's nice and sunny and warm.

Your Susans by the lake are so cheery, and are almost exactly the same color as the huge satiny throw that was across the chair the Dalai Lama sat in when he was here several years ago. He came out in his red robe and little eyeshade, kicked off his shoes, and sat cross-legged in the big chair like a child.
He just kept saying the word "compassion," and that has resonated with me. That and the gentle rain in our faces like a blessing, as we waited in line to go in.
Always good to drop in, and to have you visit, as well.
