FLOWERS AROUND OUR HOME AND NEIGHBORS
I wondered around our home and in my neighborhood to go on a photo shoot. When I say neighbors I am talking within a mile of where we live because my only neighbor directly...is my sister in back of me.
First the easiest flowers to find around our home.
There is a large bunch of these near my back door. The yellow ones are just staring to bloom.
My clematis vine is gorgeous.
This is my sister's huge flowering tree as you look out my back door.
It is at least 60 feet tall and it has lavender flowers. The leaves after the flowers are gone are huge.
Wild orange azaleas grow nearby. It is a tree not a shrub.
Closeup
They are so beautiful.
These azaleas grow at the bottom of our mountain across the street. No one lives there and they bloom even though they are very neglected.
I do not know what the white blooms are in back.
We also have these guys a couple of miles down the mountain.
Yep, donkeys.
They are in the fields with the cows to scare animals away at night.
They bellow so loud it scares any would be attack.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday
Love,
JEANNE
The flowers are gorgeous! My favorite has to be the orange azaleas:@)

Beautiful flowers!
I especially like the purple Iris.
The white blooms behind the red Azaleas look like Snowball Viburnum to me.
Happy Wednesday!

Its the details of our lives I think that in some respects make the impact. Its only once in a while the big picture matters. I loves these photos of the details.

Wild orange azalea trees---that's a rare treat! How lovely that you have them to enjoy---just going their way, blooming their hearts out, with no heed to who's watching. A wonderful stroll, and I'd take it often, I think, even if up-and-downhill.
And watch-donkeys! I'd imagine that a loud donkey-bray, right out of the darkness, would scare anyone or anything.
I always love your adventures.
love,
rachel

Good morning, my dear friend. Now, that was a beautiful and fun walk you gave us. I know how much you love purple, and your blooms are gorgeous. To die for even.♥
And, the donkeys made me laugh.

When I go for my walks (weather permitting) I pass a field of the very same kind of donkeys. they are cute little critters.
Oh My......I want to move to the south. Everything is so green and the blossoms are "Garden of Eden-ish"
the trees are barely budding out here
NO blossoming trees in Alberta that I have seen.
The lilacs haven't even bloomed yet.
Now you now what I am on anti-depressants (tee, hee)
AND.........Besides that, the most beautiful flower of all is coming to see you eh. Have a wonderful time.

Morning, Jeanne! Oh, how pretty are all your beautiful spring blooms.
I just wanted to tell you, the only thing we're doing in June is an SAR meeting in San Antonio, June 6 - 10. Then nothing else in the month. I went to bed praying this wouldn't be the time you're coming to Houston. Please say it won't be during this time! It would KILL me! :)
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
