Annual Quilt Show in Franklin NC
It was a cloudy day but it didn't rain. A blessing for all.
Happy Pink Saturday
Love,
Jeanne
Sometimes I dream of such lovely quilts---especially when we've been to one of the fairs or exhibits. These are just stunning---from a talent standpoint, with all that clipping and arranging and sewing---and from the sheer beauty of them all.
I just keep saying I love your adventures!
love, rachel

What a wonderful display of quilts. The second picutre of a quilt, sort of a fan (pinks, purples on white) with the candy striped edges was such a happy quilt.

LOVE the quilts displayed like that. . .they are gorgeous and they make that event so special. We have attended many a Folk Festival in the small town in Ark. where I'm from. My dad could play most stringed instruments and was a great singer. My mom sang alto and was a piano player. Sadly, they didn't pass their musical talents on to us! :)

I would have thought I had died and gone to heaven if I had been there. All those beautiful quilts would have blown me away. I definitely do not need anymore, but still like and want them.

Very pretty for Pink Saturday! I often wish I had such wonderful talent to create such gorgeous pieces of art! Sigh! Thanks for sharing Jeanne! I am still catching up from last week with the birthday party!
Nick graduated May 15th and Jeremy Mother's Day! It was a good month for me with my boys!
Jeremy has been interviewing for jobs. Perhaps he will ind the right one soon. Prayer is always welcomed.
Nick has a nice scholarship covering almost every single thing! He will go to Kansas and run at a small college. We are proud of both of them!
I hope your week is beautiful!
Hugs Anne

What gorgeous quilts. Where is the picture of Claudie wrapped up in the one she put on facebook(tee, hee)
I don't think I ever told you, but my mom was an amazing!!! quilter. She entered some in fairs etc and won ribbons.
I never inherited ANY of her skills
But homemade quilts are wonderful, especially if we can get ones made by our loved ones eh.

He is VERY alert and bright-eyed for a 6 week old. And gnetitg more beautiful every day. I love those purple pants he's wearing!! Love the quilt, too. You and Morgan sure made a great baby 8-). One of the Nurse Practitioners that works here had her 4th bundle of joy today. She had 3 girls, and now has a boy! We are all so deliriously happy for them all. I love, love, love babies!

It is OK to get oeesssbd. I am oeesssbd with hourglass blocks. Oh well. Hopefully my readers don't get sick of it! You don't have to worry about that, we love seeing everything you make! Oh P.S. it is OK to have 75 quilts for the babe, he is going to vomit on everything you own so you should cover all surfaces with quilts. That should be your goal.

I'm sure he'll like a little pink it was our next door neobrgihs' son's favorite color until he was about 7. You may also be interested to know that at the end of the 19th century, pink was considered a baby boy's color, and light blue was a delicate color suitable for baby girls.

I pulled out fbriac this week too and worked on patchwork quilts. Big 5 inch squares came together quickly. I thought of you as I sewed because the style was similar to yours. Fun! Enjoy your HSTs.

Your eye for color is unbelievable. And it is not just in your qutlis, don't think your photo backgrounds go unnoticed. The photo of the quilt made with the Urban Chicks Dream On Charm pack has a background of flowers that match the quilt to a T. The Momo Odyssea has the same tone of green that is in some of the blocks repeated in the greenery behind the quilt. I learn so much from you every time I log onto your blog. I am grateful to have found Film In The Fridge. Good work. Carolina

The website is great, but I can't furige out how to see all the quilts. I see a selection, but there isn't a scroll bar and all of them don't fit on the page. I know your fantastic husband will look at this comment and think I am a dummy, but please ask him anyway.
