Thank you Sally for our Blue Monday fun.

WHEN YOUR BREAKFAST LOOKS LIKE THIS...
This is the waffle machine in our motel. Delicious but hard on the calorie count.
TEXANS ARE VERY PROUD OF THEIR STATE
You know you're in Houston when you see this...
Beautiful blue skies and a statue of a Texan on a horse.
When our grandson Brandan takes us to his favorite barbque restaruant where elk is on display.
When the local IHOP has the friendliest and most fun employees serving us.
The IHOP balloon girl entertaining the children and adults with her balloon magic.
When your husband has a big smile on his face because he is eating his
Father's Day breakfast at this Houston IHOP
When we have the friendliest waitress ever.
Bill and Michele...spelled with one "L" Thank you for a great breakfast and a good time Michele.
When we spend the rest of the day with our darling grandson and his pretty wife...
Houston's Museum of Natural Science where we visited the Titantic Exhibation and the Palentology display. (no photos allowed)
Maddi and Brandan waiting to get tickets for the Titanic.
Entertaining ourselves with this interesting gimmick to get donations for the museum. Bill put a quarter in and it spun like crazy before it was swallowed up in the hole. Very blue so I had to share this with you Sally.
To end our day with our grands, we ate dinner at Maddi's and Brandan's favorite Mexicon restaruant.
Goodbye Brandan and Maddi. We had the best time with you today.
We love you and we will miss you so very much.
Happy Blue Monday and thank you for bearing with my long post. It could have been a whole lot longer. Smile!!!
Love,
JEANNE
Looks like you had a fun trip! Love the waffle:@)

About 30 or 35 years ago, hubs and I were eating at a Love's BBQ restaurant and had an older woman for a waitress. She was the "old time" waitress, who offered enough service to make you wanna say "Stop!" In other words, a great waitress and not the kind you see so often today, who throws the food at you without a smile or anything. But towards the end of the dinner, I told hubs, "If she tries to wipe your mouth or burp you, I'm gonna slug her!" She was THAT attentive. :-) They don't make them like her anymore.
xoxo,
Connie

Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne. I know you are off on another fun adventure this morning.
That waffle is so fun, and that is an awfully cute guy having breakfast with you. I'm glad you got to share some time with your grandchildren.♥

Hi Jeanne! Oh, your grandson and his wife are just precious! I know you had a wonderful time with them. Love the snaps!
I wanted you to know if you're heading back home from here, you can take the ferry from Galveston to Port Bolivar and you won't hit any traffic. Just a thought! See you soooooon!! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

What a super time you and Bill had in Texas! Yes, Texas is a proud--perhaps the MOST proud state. Your grandson and granddaughter-in-law are good hosts.
Thanks for showing the blue moneymaker; I've never seen anything like that.
Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne.

It could have gone on and on---like the Titanic song! What a fun Fathers' Day visit, and I know it will linger in your ever-memories.
Ours was quiet and simple---we took Chris out for brunch, and had just a home afternoon.
love,
rachel

WOW, those ARE very friendly folks Jeanne. Bill looks soooo happy, and Brandon and Maddi must have enjoyed your company sooooo much, just like all of us ; )
Sweet Shelia, can't wait to see pics of that visit too.
Just home from Cornwall tonight. Bitter sweet, like I said. Hospital all over again for my cousin who is only 73 and dying. I made the Hospice call for Lillian and her kids. : (
Had a nice swim with Randy.
All is well in the Frid home
P.S. Riley and Colt are building me a deck for the pool. It's looking GREAT!!!!
It's so HOT HOT HOT here. LOVE IT.
I hope you are catching up and relaxing from your beautiful trip.

You gotta love a waffle shaped like Texas!! Cute!
Loved seeing the fun photos of your visit with your grands. . .and your 52nd tour of a Titanic exhibit! HA!! :) Were they all the same or different? I've just seen one....when it was first in KC a few years ago.
I'm sure you are trying to get caught up....and RESTED! OMG....you have had such a busy and hectic summer with all of your guests, then your own trip across the US!! Guess you're getting ready for grandkids week now, huh?
I gave Bonnie her give from you yesterday and she was thrilled and so appreciated your thoughtfulness. She's doing great....can walk w/o her cane, but doesn't push it just yet.
Gotta get ready to pick up my girl for some errands....have a restful day!!

Jeanne that waffle is delightful! My friend Jean (an Oklahoma native) lives in Tyler, Texas and she sent me a magnet that is shaped like the state of Texas and says "Don't Mess With Texas". It is always on my fridge!
Your family is beautiful an your friend too! You are one blessed woman!
God Bless and enjoy your weekend!
Always a beautiful Blue Monday for you, althugh I am very late wishing you one!
