GRADUATION PARTY TIME
My great niece Maggie graduated from high school this year. She lives in Atlanta and her parents gave her a lovely party to celebrate. I was lucky to be able to go to her party with my sister Jane Anne. I am sharing a few photos of the pre-party. (before all the guests arrived.) When you see these photos you will see that Maggie is a bonifide Pinkie.
Maggies graduation photo.
She is as sweet as she is beautiful.

Great Aunt Jeanne, Maggie and her grandma Jane anne (my sister)
Maggie showing us her delicious 'to die for' chocolate cake.
This wonderful food was from Publix. I so miss Publix where I live in our small city of Franklin.
IMaggie has an older sister Sarah who was unable to attend because of her job. I want to share Sarah's high school graduation picture as well. Beautiful great nieces and we are so proud of them. Sarah is in college and Maddie will attend college starting in Sept. Their mom, my niece Abbyjane is a concert pianest and she teaches piano as a career. Sarah is following in her mom's footsteps. Maggie is deciding on which path she will take with her college education.
Meet Sarah my other beautiful great niece.
I admit to a lot of bragging but I bet you won't blame me. With so many bad things you hear about teens these days I am lucky to have such lovely young women who I can claim as my family.
You are loved Maggie and Sarah along with your mom and dad. We are so very proud of you all.
Love and blessings,
Your Great Aunt Jeanne
Happy Pink Saturday
Happy Pink Saturday, Jeanne. You should brag - you have a wonderful family.♥ The girls are so pretty, and I think they look so much like Abbyjane.

What a gorgeous family you have, Jeanne. How awesome that you were able to attend her graduation party!!!
So, what's a Publix? We don't have them here. That food does look wonderful!!
Just returned from the doc....I have to keep my Darth splint on til the end of July....but the fracture is healing...it just needs to heal some more. I can sleep without the splint on...and that will be awesome. I also have to start taking it off several times a day and do some stretching exercised. My little hand tightened up over the last 6 weeks of none use...so I will be working of regaining flexibility before I see him the day before my birthday! Actually, the visit to this doc was the FIRST Medicare visit!! :) Hopefully, it's all covered....we'll see.
Gotta get busy. It's so stinkin' hot here.....I don't want to do anything cept sit by the A/C vents!! :)
Happy Pink Saturday!

What a pretty girl, and what a wonderful smile. RE the chocolate cake, not so much 'to die for' it's more 'to kill for if you don't give me a big piece NOW', lol. Happy Pink Saturday from a cold and raining UK!

You sure have some beauties in your family, Jeanne. Somehow, I just KNEW the food was from Publix; I guess there's a recognizable look to the trays.

Lovely family, lovely occasion---congratulations to Maggie, and to YOU for having such accomplished, smart young folks in your family.
Stay cool,
rachel
PS Maggie looks like a younger, MUCH prettier version of little Skyler from American Idol this season. Oh. Just this second read the comments and see I'm not the only one.

You have your pretty PINK blouse on.
You all look soooo beautiful. I know you are all so proud of Maggie. Jane Anne is beaming with delight.
I'm so happy you were there to celebrate this special day. Two gorgeous ladies for sure. WOW.
We are on our way to a very important meeting in town. They want to put an asphalt plant down the road of the highway near the bridge. NOT NOT NOT going to happen if we have anything to say about it.
Gotta run
I'm happy you are back.
