MY LATEST VINTAGE FINDS WHILE ON VACATION
First the 'tiny' S & P bananas I found at a garage sale in Gladstone, MO. A yard sale in my sister-in-law's neighborhood had these for $1.00. They are made in Japan.
Very cute and very small.
Next a white hen planter. Also, made in Japan. I couldn't resist buying this for $15.00.
The hen is very pretty and this photo shows how small the S&P's are. The pretty surgar shaker is a gift from my sister. The green dishes are also vintage that I have shared before.
The sugar shaker has fruit decals. I love anything with fruit and all hens and roosters as well. You might say it is my weakness. S & P's, not so much but these were so cute and tiny.
Keep on hunting for those vintage treasures. I admit, I am hooked hopelessly.
Love,
JEANNE
Bananas as S&Ps-- how cute! The white hen is so sweet. I don't think I could've passed it up either.

Cute S&P shakers! And a white French hen is the perfect way to display flowers.

Of all the places you traveled this year, you should have a house full of new goodies. I like all of these.

I can see those little bananas on a lady's breakfast-in-bed tray, beside a pretty fruit-pattern cup and saucer, and a dainty egg cup.
I'm the VINTAGEST thing around here this moment, and we're packing to travel, so I'll just wish you a wonderful, restful weekend!!
love,
rachel

All the cute vintage things are my weakness too! I found some turkey s/p sets at the thrift store. They were made by Hallmark in the 1970s. They came two sets in the original box! I paid $1! I always say I am coming over to Vintage Thursday and then stuff happens! I need to get into my hutch! Lots of s/p sets! I love finding "Made in Japan" stuff. So worthwhile! I will have to look into my PH stash. I may have a few fruit pattern things I would love to send to you!
Plus I am working on sorting my scrapbooking materials so I can start a journal too! With Nick leaving this might be a good time to keep my mind busy!
I appreciate you so much! You are truly one of the kindest ladies I know and I treasure your friendship here! Hugs Anne
