REMEMBERING 9/11

 

 

We shall never forget
We shall keep this day,
We shall keep the events and the tears
In our minds, our memory and our hearts
and take them with us as we carry on.

 

Valencia College in Orlando, Florida remembers everyone who died on 911 by placing American Flags in the ground for each and every one.

 

VALENCIA COLLEGE

This is the college  where my husband taught math for many years.  This effort is a beautiful  tribute to lives lost on that fateful day.

How beautiful Jeanne! I am so full of emotion! It is so hard for me being here without Nick but I can not imagine the lives of the families who lost their loved ones. I have read many 9-11 books, primarily from the perspective of the widows. What heroes they have become carrying on the legacies of those they loved.
