A POEM ABOUT BLUE
The color blue
There’s so much more to blue
Than just a color
It’s as much an emotion
As it is a hue
Blue is the tender soul
Of sky, flower and ocean
And both the blessing and bane
Of me and you
Dye of desperation
Paint of despair
Wistful wash of wisdom
And the pale shade of prayer
A name for a pet
A descriptor of sea
Four letter word…Tho’
no better one could be
It is substance, it has meaning
Is nothing, yet many things…
All the while, just a color it tis
Only a color,...yet a color with wings

We have a very good longtime friend that has mastered the art of photography. He sent me a photo that I am sharing with you today.
The photographer is Rick Hartmann
The subject is a waterfall in Highland's North Carolina.
The real subject is the 'just about'
half moon shining in daylight. A very unusual moment in time.
Thank you Rick.
Happy Blue Monday.
Love,
JEANNE

Blue...a color with wings...I love that!!! Great poem, Jeanne! Amazing Blue Moon over Waterfall photo. Very talented photographer indeed. Also, amazing enough, I'm finding I have collections of Blue Stuff to share on Blue Monday. Of course, it's a bunch of OLD Things, but I bet you'll like seeing them. Hope you have a Happy Blue Monday and an Amazing Autum Week.

This is an amazing photo...worthy of framing, I'd say.
Hi,Jeanne, I missed your birthday. bwaaaaaaa
so sorry. Happiest belated Birthday, sister friend.
I've been so busy around here and haven't been on the computer as much....i've fallen behind in my visiting.
We are about to make a move and I've packed till my eyeballs are falling out. Boxes marked GIVEAWAY, GARAGE SALE, KEEP, WHAT-AM-I-GONNA-DO-WITH-THIS....all stacked in a back bedroom and it is all driving me nuts. Can't take the clutter and mess much longer.
I'll talk about the move a little later.
love you lots, bj

BLUE MOON, You saw me standing alone
