MUSEUM PHARMACY BLUES
This is phase two of the lovely Pharmacy Museum we visited in Germany. These lovely vintage bottles and jars were behind glass cases that were lighted. It was hard to get a good photo but I think you will enjoy seeing these photos just the same. I have never seen such a wonderful collection in one place before.
A vntage chest for medicine that would be used in a pharmacy.
It is interesting that the bottles etc. would be so ornate.
The next several photos of pharmacy parafenalia were behind glass and displaed so nicely.
These displays also included some of the sources of which medicine was actually developed.
Happy Blue Monday
Love,
JEANNE
so beautiful :)

The displays are so artistic that no one would guess it's a pharmacy. Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne.

Hi Jeanne. So sorry I haven't written before but I have seen your photo's of your trip.It looks like that was a wonderful boat. And you had a great trip. I am "ënjoying"the winterblues and I am not blogging much at the moment.
No inspiration, I am waiting for spring.
My husband is very slowly feeling better. He has new neurological medicine which make him a little sleepy but takes some of the pain away.It lasted already four and a half month so it is about time it is getting over and done.
Have a great week.

Hi Jeanne - - So glad you're back from your trip safe and sound. Hope you're over your jet lag. Am really enjoying your photos. PARIS IN THE SPRING! GORGEOUS!! And the unique and interesting bottles and containers in the pharmacies. Beautiful displays! Wouldn't it be fun to have some of these bottles? Being an artist, I was intrigued by the botanical sketches on the cupboards. I'm assuming these paintings are leaves and plants from which the medicines are derived. - - - It's cold here in Minneapolis - - 6 degrees!!! brrrrr!! But you adjust to it. A good time to sort and throw stuff - - or cuddle up in an afghan by the fire with hot cocoa and a good book!! :) Looking forward to more photos. - - Ruthie
