PINK WEIGELA IN THE HEIGHT OF BLOOMING
I really think my PINK weIgela is the most beautiful it has ever been. You be the judge.
My view fountain side. Just a peek of my weigela. This photo was taken with too much exposure of the weigela in full sun.
The weigela is about 10 ft. high. That is as high as it grows. We planted it four years ago and it was maybe 12 inches high then.
The blooms were so loaded and heavy the branches were hanging down.
Closeup...it took my breath away. The varied shades of PINK were so pretty.
Some PINK sneakers to make you smile. I saw them at a tent sale for Addias shoes and outer wear in Florida. I loved them, but no...I didn't have the nerve to buy and wear them. Smile.
Happy Pink Saturday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Oooooh, chicken!!! I think you should have bought them. You'd be "stylin'", chick! LOL I would have. I'm that humorous though. Love the pink flowers. I don't know if they'd grow here in the desert though. Beautiful however.
xoxo,
Connie

I have always wondered what this bush was and now, thanks to you, I know! Such beautiful blossoms!
Those sneakers are hilarious....I have some granddaughters that might have worn those just for the reaction....I can be crazy, but not that crazy! lol!

I can't believe you didn't buy the shoes!!! OMG...they are so YOU!!! ha ha!!! :)
Your weigela is AMAZING (hope I spelled it correctly). I can't imagine seeing it in real life cuz it's so beautiful in the photos you shared!! You do have a green thumb.....and no wonder you are the Pres. of the G. Club!!
We just returned from packet pick up for the run I'm doing in the a.m. I mistakenly had my hubby drive the course so I could judge just how steep the hill (which runs along side Gen. Hosp. and Children's Mercy ) was.....OMG....now I wish I hadn't seen it! It seems to go on forEVER!!! I imagine I'll be doing some walking in this run. I do practice hills in my runs around here, but we have NOTHING that looks like that ! Yes, I'm nuts. ha ha!!
Hope you have a great weekend, Jeanne!!!! Say hi to Bill and CC!!

Too cute are those Pink Poodle Tennis Shoes. I'd have taken the picture and be done, too. However, my middle GrandGal would wear them. Wow, 12 foot bush of PINK Beauty. Ya'll grow em big there in the mountains. Really beautiful flowers, and a new one for me. Happy Pink Saturday, Jeanne!!!

I have not heard of that bush of beautiful blooms before. Must not be a Texas thing. I would dearly love having one. No, I ,too, would have passed on those slippers.

The flowers are beautiful, Jeanne, but I think you needed those shoes, too! What fun!

The shoes are awesome -- you should have bought a pair. That's a once in a lifetime chance -- and you would have been the talk of the neighborhood. Well, yeah, maybe you were right not to buy them after all... :)

Your shrub is over the top breathtaking!!! The range of pinks is so beautiful. And the shoes? I'm with you...take a few pictures and have a few laughs, but actually wear them? Not! Have a Pink Week.
