I belong to our local garden club and since our monthly meeting was just before the 4th of July, our theme was red, white and blue. We meet in a local restaruant that has a lovely meeting room where we meet all year. Our members volunteer to make centerpieces for our tables each month and I am sharing our patriotic flower arrangements. It sure put us into the 4th of July celebration mood.
I have to confess that this is the third time I have attempted to do this post. Each time my computer has hung up and I had to reboot. Yikes. I admit this is the simpler post and you will never see my awesome post that I lost "twice."
Our volunteers had to make ten of these for our tables. a big job and they did a lovely job as you will see in the closeup photos.
Our luncheon and meeting was a special day with these lovely centerpieces to enjoy.
This has been two weeks of being with six of our grandchildren. They range from 14 to 18 in age. They do not live near each other so this time together is very special. I am sharing a photo of them which was taken in the bowling alley. I shared it on another post so if you have already seen it please forgive me. We are so proud of each one because they are outstanding students and kind and loving grandchidren in every way.
Not a great photo. There is an orb on Molly's face. She says the bowling alley is haunted.
I am so glad some of them wore blue.
Happy Blue Monday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
The flower arrangements were very lovely Jeanne! And you family are beautiful!

Wow, you are super dedicated! Thanks for taking the triple time to link in. My computer has been giving me fits too, as I keep having to reboot.
I'm so glad that you have this special time with your grandchildren each year; I'm sure they'll cherish these summers too.
Hope you get over the cold ASAP.
Have a good Blue Monday, Jeanne.

So glad to see you here on Blue Monday...especially considering your computer woes....Third times a charm, huh? Love the centerpieces...so patriotic and of course with lots of blue. I haven't seen this picture of your GRANDS...they are truly are GRAND! Hope you are having a great summer. Mine has been productive as I am almost to the half way point of writing my Georgia Ancestors stories. Hope to finish by the end of summer. Gosh those folks had lots of kids. Sure am glad, though...I might not be here as ME if they hadn't...LOL!!!

Quality time with family is the best ever. I do not know how you find the time or energy to attend to your club functions as much as you travel. I used to go more than I do now, but still enjoy traveling. Thanks again for the wonderful greeting card.

Hi Jeanne! We've been so busy and I'm missed you! Sorry you've been sick and glad to hear you're much better now. What a wonderful time for your good looking grandchildren to get together and be with their grandparents! Life has just been so busy this summer for us and I know you've been on the go! The flowers for your garden club luncheon are so pretty and they're real too, aren't they? Oh, I hate I didn't have time to take part in the banner making. I knew I was going to be so busy but little did I know it would be like it's been! I'm twirling! :)
Love you,
Shelia ;)
