A MESSAGE FOR MY BLUE MONDAY FRIENDS
I will be on a blog break for a week or more.
We have had sad news today about my darling cousin Marilyn. She passed away unexpectedly. I haven't picked up my computer all day. We are leaving for MI as soon as we can get ready tomorrow. It is a two day drive and we expect to be gone for a week or more. We are so saddened by this loss. Many of you know we are very close to my cousin and her husband. They think it was heart failure. Thank goodness I just spoke to her last week for quite a while. It was a happy conversation and at least I had the chance to tell her I loved her.
My Cousin Marilyn, her husband Jerry and me.
This photo was taken on our deck. Marilyn and Jerry visited us every year for a few weeks in early spring.
Marlyn and Jerry at our 50th anniversary party April 2013
Marilyn was just a bit over a year younger than me.
She was a Christian and I pray we will meet again one day in heaven.
For Marilyn
A light from the family is gone
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in the home
Which never can be filled
We have to mourn the loss of one
We would’ve loved to keep
But God who surely loved her best
Has finally made her sleep

Blessings and love,
JEANNE
I'm sorry to hear the sad news Jeanne. Have a safe trip and please take care.

Marilyn has been so much a part of our life she has always been a part of all of us. She was so loving to others even when she had heart ache it was made bearable because of our constant love. we all shared our joys as well as our pains and then together we gave them to God. My children adored her , my Grandchildren adored her.and have shared our faith since childhood. God is so beautiful when he brings home one of His own. We are in so much pain for Jerry and her sister Debbie, & her beloved granddtr Hannah. I just pray our love will hold them all up until this loss is bearable. Love in Christ always, Carmen

You know I am heartbroken for you and your family. You were so blessed to share such a fun and loving relationship with Marilyn. I remember all of the laughs the two of you shared. Marilyn and my cousin, Deborah, would have been kindred spirits. They were both shopping queens.♥
