MARILYN'S MEMORIAL
We arrived home from Michigan this evening and my cousin's memorial was beautiful. She was so 'well loved' and there was a huge crowd of over 250 family and friends in attendance. It was a beautiful tribute to her lfe of loving, giving, caring and her faith in God. She will be so missed but the memories we have will always keep her close to our heart.
I am posting my son John's poem he wrote to say goodbye. Our children loved Marilyn too and this poem reflects all of our feelings of how she touched our lives.
MARILYN SWEET MARILYN
Marilyn sweet Marilyn I will miss your smile,
With a soul full of joy, talking all the while.
Not even a Florida sunny day, could match your shine,
So many visits will always be in mind.
As a child in Michigan in your house I did stay,
So much fun I hated to go away.
All the visits in Florida to break the cold,
Time with you never grew old.
No matter the time in our busy life,
You seemed to drop in like a ray of light.
No matter that I'm here and you are there,
My memories of you are everywhere.
Marilyn sweet Marilyn I will miss your presence,
How blessed was I to live in your essence.

So many of my dear blog and Facebook friends have been so kind and I must say thank you'once again' for your sweet comments about the passing of my dear cousin Marilyn. I'm sorry I haven't been able to visit each of you because the lack of service to the internet these past nine days has been a problem. As Marilyn's husband Jerry said, "I am in the dark ages when it comes to computers". So true and he is not going to change. I tried to convince him to get with the program to no avail.
I have truly missed my computer and the loss of connection these past nine days. I can't imagine not having a computer. I am sooooo happy to be back on line and posting again.

I thought about you this past week, and kept you close in prayer. Sorry for your loss, and I know it is hard to lose those close to you. Hope you feel better in the days to come.

Time is the best thing with any loss. The greatest blessings of all are the memories that will never be lost. Your son said it very well. Glad you are back home safely.

Such a sweet tribute, and such memories of someone so dear. I sometimes wish I knew everybody YOU know---your cheery presence and sweet spirit seem to be surrounded with like people, and it must be a wonderful gathering when you're in it.
It's good to have you home, and I hope you're soon rested from your travels. You've been greatly missed.

Hi Jeanne *hugs*
I am so sorry about the loss of your cousin. It is so sad. I did see the sweet picture of 3 of you on Facebook....lovely picture and I know she will be missed. The poem by John is very beautiful, very touching. Very sweet of him to write that for sure.
I've missed you in blogland though because I just have not had a chance to blog it has been so busy. Much like you, you sure have been busy. It sounds like your summer has been very nice. Mine has been too. I have really enjoyed my time at the cottage for sure although it hasn't been very cottagy weather. It is now though..:o)
Have a great rest of the evening and see you soon again....and maybe sooner on Facebook. At my blog I saw that you had left a couple of comments but I had to moderate them...which I did today.
*hugs*...
xoxo Judi
