I AM COMBINING TWO OF MY FAVORITE BLOG PARTIES TODAY.
YOU GOTTA LOVE BLUE AND PINK
I hope you don't mind. We arrived home from Florida late last night. It was 13 hours of driving in the Thanksgiving traffic. It is so good to be home and in my own bed. However, Our darling granddaughter Ashley, gave up her room for the nearly two weeks we were in FL. Thank you Ashley.

HAVING A GREAT VACATION ON DISNEY'S PRIVATE ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN
What could be better than cruising to an Island in the Caribbean when the weather in most of the country is "COLD."
Disney's private island is a paradise found. Beautiful cruise ship, beautiful beaches and family to enjoy on our vacation.
Here we are getting off the ship and ready to play our day away. Excited to be there...you bet!
Our SIL Robert, our daughter Diana, me, Bill, and two grandsons Logan and Caleb...our daughter Christina's son. The boys are best friends as well as cousins.
This is the first thing we saw after leaving the ship.
The island was all dressed up for Christmas .
More Christmas. We are heading to the beach. We found several palm trees for shade and set up a place to relax in the shade.
It didn't take me long to find a book and relax. The rest of the gang took off for the water and some snorkeling.
A waiter appeared and took my order for a strawberry banana smoothie. Pinch me, is this real?
Oh yeah...the smoothie is in a coconut shaped PINK container. I asked the waiter. "How did you know I loved pink? " He said, "You just looked like a pink kind of lady." Could it possibly be the PINK Bahama bag and the hat???
BIG SMILE HERE!!!
Check out the gorgeous BLUES along with the pink in these photos.
My husband Bill looking for the kids and figuring out what to do next.
Maybe a ride on a Hobie Cat boat. Naaaah, too much work! Love the BLUE in my photo of these pretty boats.
He and the boys decided to feed the stingrays. Yikes!
Bill feeding a stringray with the grandsons watching.
Yikes, Logan's hand is in the stringray's mouth. After feeding them, they were able to swim with the stringrays. They loved this so much.
The cousins having some fun.
They thought they were strong...NOT so much!
The end of a fabulous day.
There was lots more to share like the steak and beautiful island food but time to go back to our ship for a big Pirate party at dinnertime. Yep, we all dressed up as pirates but that is another story.
The ship is ready to sail.
HAPPY BLUE MONDAY AND PINK SATURDAY
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
O, it looks like you had a blast. Love all your great photos.
The best vacation and time of my life was when 14 of our family members took a cruise.....I'll never forget it.

I didn't realize you were doing this cruise until after you'd finished it! ha ha!! It looks amazing....and I know you guys had a wonderful time!!!
Your TGiving also sounds great!!! You are right, we have so much to be thankful for.....even when life hands us some really rough times, we still are lucky to have so much and so many good friends and family members!!
Whew...I'm whipped. Having the family for two nights and two and 1/2 days just wore me out. Of course, doing all the prep work for their visit probably had me tired before the good times even started!!
I'm going to run in the morning, then will spend the week in the basement trying to get ready for my Christmas sale. I'll be glad when it's over so I can enjoy the rest of December!!
HPS.....Love, Dana

I have enjoyed several cruises in my time, but never on this ship. Cruises are the best way to travel. Glad you and family had a great and safe trip.

Girl!! You in that hat beneath that palm tree---Oh, My. You look like you're thirty, and living it up.
I'm so glad you had this bit of lagniappe---looks like the trip of a lifetime, unplanned or not. Some folks plan and schedule and research and reserve, and look at Y'all---just stepping aboard that ship with all the elan of a TransAtlantic voyage.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving---ours was VERY small, but another little celebration planned for tomorrow. Getting things to rights does wonders for my disposition.
love and,
rachel

HI Jeanne. I have been scrolling back to see your other Disney posts. What a wonderful trip you had. Cruising is so wonderful especially when you are in warm countries.
Fancy you going to Florida now and then and been living there. We love it there. Today I posted about our last week when we stayed in Key Islamorada. Beautiful. WE have been in the same hotel for many years and we don't want to go anywhere else.I would love to go back again immediately.:)))Just keep hoping LOL
Have a nice week

My son and his family are on this same cruise this week! After seeing your photos, Jeanne, I'm sure they are having a wonderful time. It is getting cold here tonight--an arctic blast is coming through with snow and below freezing temperatures. Brrrrr!
