Beverly, at, How Sweet the Sound is hosting Pink Saturday Thank you Beverly for your dedication to Pink Saturday.

To my dear blogging friends, my wish for you.
JUST A BIT OF CHRISTMAS TO SHARE
First I am sharing my poodle Christmas tree for the first time. The tree was given to me in October for my birthday with three poodles as starters. I have many poodle pins and I attempted to share them by hanging them on the poodle tree. I admit that the photos were no good but I am sharing them anyway. This was lots of fun to do but honestly they just did not show up very well.
Here it is and it is absolutely cuter in person. I call this my little poodle shrine...such as it is!
Note to self: Next time take the photo of my grands out of the photo op. Yikes. These photos did not show the poodles to their best advantage. However, I decided to share them anyway.
The framed photos are of our previous poodles, Babette and Trippy.
This adorable pink poodle was a gift from a past blogging friend when after many years we finally met at the Biltmore in Asheville. You may remember BO. We had a wonderful time.
Just a few of the many poodles I have collected over the years.
Now, more of the tree. Again, the tree is much cuter then these pics show.
My table centerpiece given to me from my garden club for 2 1/2 years of being president. Now I am the past president and maybe I will have more time to visit my dear blogging friends.
My photo of this does not show the beauty of it all. Haste makes waste and I was in a hurry. Sigh!
A small country Christmas tree with a woodsman Santa. I did decorate my big tree with fruit ornaments as well. I will share it later.
Our annual cookie day in 2013.
Jeanne, Jane Anne, Caralie, Diane and Carmen.
I made the matching aprons at least 17 years ago. Carmen and Diane missed that cookie day so many years ago and they did not have a matching apron. Sigh!
Yes, we baked cookies in the cabin oven too.
The cookies on the front left are made with mince meat. They may not be beautiful but they are delicious. YUM! Thanks Jane Anne.
We not only had the sisters together, my niece Jennifer, front and center, joined us along with our sister friend Linda on far right. We had a wonderful cookie day as always.
Merry Christmas day will be here soon.
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Happy Pink Saturday. You made it.
I ate some of those cookies, although someone ate all of Jane Anne's. Don't worry, I won't call names. And, I had Sour Cream Raisin Pie for breakfast.

Oh, Jeanne,
I see so many wonderful things in your life that we'd all like to share in---that's just a lovely way to gather for the holidays. Do they all live close? We're all so spread out right now that we have to depend on phone and mail and internet for getting together. And next year, one set will be living in Germany.
I wish you the brightest and the best of everything there is---to add to everything wonderful you already have, full and overflowing.
love,
rachel
