PICKEN'S NOSE HIKING TRAIL ADVENTURE
Well, grandkid's week is over and everyone has gone home. No noise, no chaos, and no more feeding 11 people three times a day. We miss them already but peace and quiet is kind of nice. A few of the group had the energy to climb a high trail. The highest point is 4800 feet.
The trail starts here.
More trail...Molly is taking a photo to show what the rest of the cousins are missing.
Close to the top of the trail with Ashley and Molly.
Cousins and friends forever.
Yikes! get down from there.
Daughter and father...Molly and our son John.
Ashley and Diana, our daughter.
Ashley and Molly holding up a huge rock.
At the top of the mountain is a deep ravine. A few years ago our grands all climbed down to the bottom of the ravine with a rope. I was scared they would get hurt. Nope, they thought Grandma was silly.
An amazing view. The mountains were a bit foggy at times that day.
Some mushrooms on the trail. 'Not good to eat.'
They had a great time and the rest of the grands were sorry they missed it after seeing theses photos.
Happy Blue Monday
Love and blessings,
Jeanne
Oh Jeannie,
They're having such a great time! You are wonderful grandparents for providing these memories.
Thanks for making Blue Monday special.
Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!

Great photos, I wish I would have had cousins to grow up with that lived close by.
