SHOPPING AT THE BILTMORE GARDEN SHOP
I have shared flowers etc. from the Biltmore Garden Center before and this post is about their garden gift shop. The gifts are different and fun. Today I am sharing the sweetest flower pots ever. I call them "Pink Cheeks"
This display really blew me away. Totally different and so cute.
What do you think about these pink cheek cuties?
She is definitely a Pinkie!
Happy Pink Saturday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
How adorable. Did you buy one? I am sure this will catch Beverly's eye.

Awww---totally sweet, with all their bright expressions and those round "Miss Florrie" cheeks. Miss Florrie had our town CAFFAY, up on Main Street, and wore high heels and slim skirts and pretty silky blouses, with her Miss Clairol RAVEN BLACK up-do and two perfectly round circles of reddish rouge. I always think of her when I see doll cheeks or clown cheeks with such perfect rounds of red.
I especially love the little ball-shaped one in the left corner of the table, with the pink rose and wary expression toward the camera. She looks as if she'd grow up to be a flapper, and dance like crazy with a cigarette in a long black holder, and her stockings below her knees. Or a Romance Writer.
Love you from way over HERE, Sweetpea!

Jeanne M'Darlin'
Could I Pretty Please borrow one of these---you got me to thinking about Miss Florrie, and I'd like to post a little bit about her and her caffay. My ideas have been sparse lately, and it's nice to think of something at last.
love and,

Good morning!!! I fell asleep early and , sadly, woke up early! Just had my fall sale this weekend , then yesterday we ran/walked 6 mi. In preparation for our half on Saturday . I have to say the 6 mi was rough on me cuz of my lack of sleep the previous week and my less than stellar eating while being busy trying to pull the sale together.
Those are darling planters! Are they locally made.....they look hand painted . I hope to visit that place one day!
Is bill cheering for the Royals? OMG.....this has been a season to remember ! They are back here tonite to play the Orieoles....and there are heavy, stormy rains predicted. Booooo. Hoping the weather folks are wrong on that .
Well....I'm heading to the "room of miracles" aka "my work room" , to clean up the mess I created while making fall/Halloween items. I need to start on the Christmas wares ....and I need to start now so I'm not totally crazy by the first weekend in December. I love making Christmas items so I'm looking forward to it.
HPS!!! L, Dana
