LETS GO TO THE BILTMORE
We have annual passes and try to visit often.
The Biltmore is 78 miles from ou home.
It is worth the drive believe me.
OUR FIRST STOP WAS THE WINERY
LUNCH AT THE BISTRO FIRST
The Bistro is at the Winery
The cusine is delicious
Salmon over a kind of mixed garbonzo hot salad. YUM!
Not much blue but my scarf is pink and navy.
Then we visited the Winery
Besides the great wine, the Winery has beautiful gifts.
There is a tour of the winery and free wine tasting.
We passed on the the wine tasting this visit.
I love to shop at the Winery.
Bill...not so much!
A few items that caught my eye.
These pottery pieces were very pretty in blue and white. My photo does not do this justice.
I loved this but I have no place to display it in my home.
We then visited the Biltmore home. garden center and more gift shops.
That is another post.
Our day can be described in the next photo.
This was at the garden center.
Happy Blue Monday
Blessings and love
JEANNE

It's been a number of years, but my hubby and I ate there when we visited Biltmore. Enjoy your Monday!

Hi Jeannie,
You missed the blue and white checkered tablecloths!
What a nice day trip; no wonder you have annual passes. I'll bet that food tasted good.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy Blue Monday!

Truly one of the most beautiful and interesting attractions. Was there a long time ago and found it fascinating. You both look happy and enjoying the day.

What a splendid day, with all that blue and scenery and good food, and each of you to have those smiling faces sitting across from you!
Haven't ever been, but hope to someday. Our NC chillun are about to be transferred back to GA, so we'll probably not be traveling that way anytime soon.
Today's my Chris' birthday, and he's way away over in IL, but at least there was no snow on his line of travel. We had dinner at Outback on Saturday, and a lovely brunch here yesterday in his honor.
Stay warm and well,
love and,

We love it there to Jeanne! The last few times we have gone during the day, we have had lunch at the Inn on Biltmore Estate in the "Library". It is up behind the winery. You should check it out the next time you head there!

That is a nice looking fellow you have there with you. I know the two of you had a great time, even if your fellow did have to wait for shopping.
