CELEBRATE OUR FALLEN HEROES
Our American Flag in honor of our fallen heroes and those who have served the USA in the past and present.

I am re-posting this old home from my previous post.
It is a wonderful tribute for Memorial Day
This is how one of our neighbors celebrates Memorial Day.
This home is old and abandoned but well loved.
It stands proud in the memory and honor of our military heroes who defended and died for our freedom. We also honor our veterans from the wars of our country.
Hang your flags Monday on Memorial Day and never forget.
Blessings and love,
Jeanne
Nice Photos. That old house could be beautifully restored and yet . . . it speaks as is.

That old house is perfect with the bunting!!! Reminds me of the extreme price the soldiers paid.

Thank you, Dear Friend, for this wonderful tribute to all our service-people. And what a beautiful old building with the bunting---it could have stood Fourth-of-July as Lincoln came through on the campaign trail. What a momentous photo.
Cloudy here right now, after a whole three days of bright sun and flag-snapping breeze. We're getting ready to put a few things on the grill, and I'm putting on a pot of snap beans in a minute.
I'm so glad you got to be present at that touching, memorable flag presentation---I've seen GrandDaddy's and one more, and it's a heart-stopping few moments as the only sounds are the soft commands and the grass-steps as the honor guard step ever closer as they fold, the soft gliss as their white gloves so gently smooth and perfect that precious triangle. And the kneeling to present, with the flag proffered like the greatest, most priceless gift---you just want to drop to your knees with them.
Hope you're all well, and enjoying this day of remembrance and celebration.
love and,
