HAND MADE RUGS
I have always admired handmade woven wool rugs. I saw this at a Wool Festival in Michigan a few years ago.
Beautiful rugs for sale.
These sheep are protected from the weather because wet wool can not be cut. The wool is nearly ready to be shorn. Imagine this wool will be used for beautiful woolen rugs and so much more.
Happy Blue Monday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Lovely colours, and so wonderful to see your light pop on on the sidebar!! We have but one ancient wool rug, of long use and wear, and Chris has gone almost entirely Alpaca for his socks. Even in Summer, he says they're the most comfortable he's ever worn. I just run them with a cold cycle, lay them out on top of the dryer for a while, and they're like new and ready to go.
I think of you every day, just enjoying that trip of a lifetime, taking in memories to share for always.
love and,

I'm always fascinated by those places where yarns are so different, but am afraid to purchase any of them for some reason. Great pictures, Jeanne.

Fun and interesting post. I follow a blog about a sheep ranch. Such an interesting process to see a sheep being sheared. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday!
