BLUE MONDAY AND SOME FRANCE PICS

CATHEDRAL

Avignon Cathedral

Cathedral in Avignon, France

Avignon Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located next to the Palais des Papes in the French city of Avignon. It is the seat of the Archbishop. The cathedral is a Romanesque building, built primarily in the second half of the 12th century.

The top spire of the Cathedral is a gilded angel. I took the following photo but in person it is so stunning and amazing. The photo does not do it justice. I zoomed in to get this shot and that was the best I could do.

We had a wonderful time in this historical city as you can see me on a wonderful carousel.

A bit of fun and a lot of whimsey.

I posted late today because we are at our daughter's home in Kissimmee, FL. to attend a couple of Gator football games and Thanksgiving.

We will also go to Disney World to see the MGM Christmas lights. We did this every year when we lived here with our grandchildren. Our son-in-law works at Disney so we get in for free.

WE LOVE THE WORD "FREE"

Seriously, we have been to Disney world for so many years without paying and we never took this wonderful benefit for granted.
