A FRENCH ABBEY GARDEN IN FRANCE
We visited several Abbeys while visiting in SE France. This Abbey was a ruin but still very interesting and Looked complete until you went inside. However, this post is not about the Abbey, it is about a most unusual garden. We met the gardener and he is responsible for the garden and the garden art. He apologized for the condition of the garden because of the end of the season. We were so impressed with the rustic artistic garden art. I hope you agree after viewing the many photos I am sharing.
Warning...heavy on photos.
I am not commenting on each photo. Everyone's thoughts on this garden will be very individual.
You be the observer and form your own opinion.
I am starting with photos of the Abbey.
The garden begins
The only thing to say now is there were many more photos in this garden I did not include.
I focused on the blue for Blue Monday.
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Don't you love gardens full of surprises? There is lots to admire at every turn at this Abbey, did you see any wilderness wildlife gardens they are really popular in the UK? This gardener has lots to be proud of! So should you, a lovely French post, looks a fabulous place.
