Thank you Sally for a lot more ways to share Blue and Christmas.
*******************************
These Christmas bulbs were my mothers and they are very old. The blue and purple sugar plums are from the 1940's. My sister had them in a box for a long time and when she recently moved into a much smaller place she gave them to me. This is the first time I put them on a tree. I love how they look.
Enjoy...
I love all of the bulbs but I am very partial to the blue and purple sugar plums.
Christmas is almost here. Are you done with Christmas Shopping yet? I m and feeling so good. Happy dance right now.
Blessings and Happy Christmas wishes are sent your way today.
JEANNE
The ornaments are precious! What a wonderful thing to have and to display!

Very special to have the bulbs from the 40ties, and even more because they belonged to your mother! A merry Christmas to you!

Good Morning Jeannie,
Oh, you bring back memories! We bought q dozen of those dented-in ornaments our first Christmas in 1958. I haven't any left as most /all were broken by "helpful" grandchildren. LOL (I always said, "Don't feel badly. You're worth more than that ornament."
Thanks for sharing today.
Have a Beautiful Blue Monday and a very Merry Christmas!

Absolutely beautiful and what a family legacy! I've always wanted to taste a "sugarplum," haven't you? I somehow thought the big purple canned ones were the next best thing, for we were doled out one each in a tiny dish for breakfast---the can would usually serve the four of us twice. I'd tip up my dish and drink the little bit of syrup, as well. And when I went to college, there were small bowls with TWO on the cafeteria ledge, so that was a graduation, of sorts.
Wrapping today, as the last of the shopping wound up yesterday, for the four local GRANDS---faraways were sent from online. I never knew there was so much PINK PLASTIC on the planet!
Hope you're staying well and warm.

A sweet treasure for sure! I love all the pretty sugar plums too. Came by to wish a you a beautiful Merry CHRISTmas Day! I have been away from my blog for two weeks and really missed it. You know sometime life just gets to wild! We are hosting CHRISTmas tomorrow and 21 of us will be there. Little Drazah will spend her day with her mom and so my grandson Andrew, his pretty wife Tarrah and their two boys will be with us. My younger grandson will be spending the holidays with her phamily so we will miss them and they will be new parents sometime in February 2016! My SIL has a beautiful daughter too, Christal and she and Alex and the three grand darlings will join us. Jeremy and Brittany split their holidays between her phamily and ours so I am grateful we all live close by. My girls will be here and two of them have their beaus. Nick home for the holidays rounds out a perfect CHRISTmas celebration. Much joy to you and yours. Hugs, Anne
