Blue Monday is the time to share some blue. Thank you Sally at Smiling Sally for hosting this fun party so we can share our love of the color blue.

SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS
The huge snow storm that covered the Eastern part of our country came down for two days and gave many of us the opportunity to have some fun sliding down our mountain property. Our front yard is almost an acre which gave us long runs to the bottom of our property. Note: There is a pretty good bank which required us to bail out at the bottom. A few times we flew over the bank onto our driveway. However, even though we were airborne, we had a soft landing in pretty deep snow.
It happened that one of our daughters was visiting for a couple of days and this Florida girl had a blast playing in the snow. My sister who lives behind me came down and the three of us had a great time playing in the snow.
Diana, our daughter, Caralie (my sister) and me posing before the fun began.
My sister's home in the background. She is my back yard neighbor, thus; my Blog name.
Diana and Jeanne ready to have some fun. I think I was pretty brave to get on that toboggan at age 76. Yikes!
Me...about to slide down our long snow covered front yard. I had no fear!!! Not true! LOL.
Made it!!! Of course I bailed out long before the end because I was afraid to go over the bank at the bottom.
A great pic of the three of us getting ready to walk back up our mountain for more runs.
EXHAUSTING TO SAY THE LEAST.
We did this several times.

Our daughter made a snowman the day before and our poodle Cher' joined in the fun.
Cheri' was not having fun!!! But we were.
Happy Blue Monday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE

Hey Jeannie,
I'm surprised that Cheri didn't like the snow; most dogs happily play in it. Your home (in the background) looks gorgeous. Thanks for playing today.
Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!

Jeanne, I remember the days when that looked like fun, but I'm glad to now be in an area where I am looking forward to 75 degrees.

This Florida girl was happy to get out of the Frozen North earlier this month before the snow arrived...but I have had my share of fun sledding over the years. It's quite a challenge to go back UP for another run! Good for you to have made several trips!
