A BIT OF CHRISTMAS THAT IS AMAZING
I hope you will forgive me for sharing them today.
Our son-in-law works at Disney World in Orlando. He has given us one of the greatest perks our family could enjoy at no cost for many years. When we were in Florida we were fortunate to see the last year Disney is going to display the Epcot Christmas display.
I know Christmas is over but we finally downloaded the photos today. To say this Christmas season has been busy is an understatement. We had a lovely holiday season starting in November. We are blessed to be able to enjoy our wonderful family even though there are many miles between our children and where we have retired.
Consequently, I have not been very faithful to my dear blogging and Facebook friends. I am trying to be much better in 2016.
First I am sharing our daughter and son-in-law.
They are now empty-nesters as both of their children are in college away from home.
Like most parents, they have discovered that there is a new lifestyle... 'peace and quiet.'
OK, this post is not all about them but they were with us when we went to Disney world and we had a wonderful time together.
Robert and Diana
Married almost 30 years.
Now a photo of us.
Jeanne and Bill
As you can see Disney was packed. This was the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Now for the lights. Out of dozens of photos I am sharing just a few. It was very hard to pick what to share.
Enjoy.
After the lights we went to a show and the following is one sample of a wonderful show... Disney style.
Happy Pink Saturday

I know you must have enjoyed that visit with the lights and your empty nester daughter and SIL! haha I love his shirt, by the way!!
Several of my running friends have participated in some of the various Disney runs hosted by DWorld. They seem very impressed with them!
I have a 5K in the morning....and it's gonna be pretty danged cold....not FL weather for sure!! I've got lots of layers and "hot hands" for my gloves. I'll look more like an Eskimo than a runner!! haha
Have a great weakend!! L, Dana

I had planned to see the Osborne Lights the night before I left for Ohio and booked a room at the Pop Century Resort to see them with my sister in law and niece.... but alas, that night they closed at 6:00 for a private party! We discovered it that morning and I quickly rebooked the room for Jan 12 (my post at Pink Saturday is about our visit a few days ago) but no light show and now it's gone. I'm so sorry I missed the Osborne lights but your pictures are among the best I've seen. Thanks for posting!

It was fun but unfortunately it was the last year for the lights.

Hi Jeannie,
I wonder why they're dropping the light show? These pictures are blue-tiful!

How fortunate you are. Not been here but some of my family has and really enjoyed it. I know you stay busy and traveling, but just keep it up. It is healthier than blogging.
