LOOKING OUT OF OUR WALL OF WINDOWS
OUR MOUNTAIN VIEW IS MY HEADER
THE RAINBOW IS REAL
This was taken several years ago by my sister who is my backyard neighbor. 'Through our wall of windows' this is the view we wake up to every morning. Minus the rainbow of course. Wouldn't it be amazing to see a rainbow like this everyday? Right now is the time of year that it is very possible to see a rainbow all across our mountains.
Our wall of windows
This is an old photo but I haven't taken a current one. Our great room has changed but the windows are the same.
The figurines in the windows are birds.
This is a sunrise taken from one of our windows. The small stained glass bird is a hummingbird.
Here is a smile for you
HAPPY BLUE MONDAY
Blessings and Love,
JEANNE
You live in paradise on earth. Such an awesome sight. Love seeing the different worlds of my friends.

Hi Jeanne! Love your photos and especially love the snap of your beautiful room with those outstanding windows. I always love hearing from you but I don't have any blue to share today! Thank you again though for continuing this for Sally. Hope you've had a nice weekend. It's still too cold here. I'm really ready for spring.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

Hello Jeanne
What a beautiful room - I love your windows and French doors.
They allow so much light in as well as that glorious view!
I hope they were dolphins!!!!
Thank you for hosting.

I think I would always be in this spot, gazing out those windows and writing poetry. So very lovely. And the rainbow is stunning.

Great to hear you are enjoying Blue Monday, you are doing a fabulous job, Jeanne. Sally will be smiling down at you!
What a wonderful architect to design such huge windows so you don't miss any of the stunning views. I have a similar triangular window in shape not as wide, in our family room, would you believe?! Light in a house is really important to me, how fabulous that your backyard neighbour is your sister!
Thank you for your lovely visit to my blog yesterday, it is great to catch up!

After linking my flowers, I thought that I may have linked to previous week? So I linked another in the first link with houses in Amsterdam for this week ...
About your post - I don't have a sister, only brothers, so what I'm saying is very hypothetical - I don't know how it would be living in constant close vicinity with another family member. The closest one is 1 1/2 hr away. But most of them live in other countries. I have the same type of view of window, only not as big, for which I'm glad, because of the cost of heating and cooling at 3000 feet:)

I love rainbows, but would not feel cheated if I didn't see one with a view like this everyday! Beautiful! Thank you for hosting the Blue Monday. I like it.

Hi Jeanne,
Wow, what a view!!! The rainbow makes it even more special :-) A view like that deserves a huge wall of windows. I wouldn't ever want to shut it away!
Have a great week,
Sarah

Rainbows are never wrong and that image with the bird silhouette is so sweet.

Hi Jeanne, here I am late as ever! But once the wedding is over and Nick is safely home from school I will get back into my routine. I love the rainbow. There is really nothing like it to symbolize God's love for each one of us! Love your great room windows! Wow! When we were first married my hubby had worked for several years for Pella Windows. They once made "green" windows for John Denver's former wife Annie for her Aspen home. They really made quality windows but he left there on a sour note (new and bad management etc) so we always say if we can afford fancy windows one day we would buy them from Anderson! We knew a couple from church years ago and he worked for Anderson windows. His wife told us she once locked her keys inside the house and had to get a locksmith there to get her back inside! She said those doors and windows were equivalent to the security at Fort Knox and their Gold Vault! We figured that was the best advertisement ever! Anyway, I hope your week is beautiful and I do appreciate you taking us on the Blue Monday tour each week. Love to you Jeanne! xo
