THE HAYWOOD GARDEN TOUR"
This tour is sponsored by the Master Gardeners of Haywood County and is always a wonderful event. They map out around six gardens in the community that are privately owned. This year was an especially good experience and was well attended by many people in the surrounding counties, as well as within Haywood County in Western North Carolina, not too far from where we live.
I took a vast amount of photos and today I will share a few of them with you.
These photos were all taken in the same yard.
View from the back yard gazebo.
Everything was lush and green next to the sidewalk leading to a side door
This little pup was watching and guarding the house.
These bunnies are for Dana at, The Stone Rabbit
My favorite photo.
Garden art was a big focus in this yard.
Lovely stained glass.
Some pink garden art just as you enter their garden.
A lovely place to sit with a cute metal butterfly.
I hope you enjoyed your tour
Happy Pink Saturday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Oh my!! What an amazing yard!! Everything was so beautiful!! I can't even begin to imagine the hours of work it takes to keep it all so lovely!! I'm a lazy gardener.....if it doesn't survive on it's own (of course I'll water ), then it has no business in my yard! haha!! I do have 4 teeny tomatoes on my first ever tomato plant! It's a cherry tomato plant. I'm not too hopeful. It seems to get a good amount of blooms now, but they aren't ending up setting fruit....cept for four! I will enjoy every bite of two of them....I'll give the other two to my hubs! :)
I forgot to say....thank you for thinking of me and TSR on tha garden tour!!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family.....sorry to hear there's no grand kid week this year....but sometimes it's a good thing to take a break from a tradition....it will make the next time it happens even better!!
Love to you guys....and HPS!! Dana

HI Jeanne! OH, the garden is spectacular! I agree with the above comment - I can't imagine how many hours it must take to keep it looking so pretty! I pull weeds, they come back and then I seem to let them grow! LOL sounds like you've been so busy this summer! I'm pooped after keeping the grands for a week. I wouldn't have thought it would have worn me out like this! I guess I'm just getting old! Thanks for much for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
