UNDER THE SEA IN OUR GRANDSON'S BEDROOM
We are in Florida for a Gator football game and this time we are visiting with our daughter and son-in-law that live in Orlando, FL.
Usually we stay in our granddaughter's bedroom but this time we are guests in our grandson's bedroom which is "Under the Sea"
Our son-in-law is an amateur artist. He can draw and paint anything and has talent he has never shared.. with the exception of his own personal use.
I am sharing a whole wall mural that he painted in our grandson's room.
This is
Logan when his bedroom was first painted.
Logan's bedroom "Under the Sea"
THE MURAL
This is not quite all of the mural. I will share more detail in the next photos.
This is not the mural but it is a shelf in his room that was also transformed in 3-D. Various fish etc. are hanging from the ceiling and sitting on the shelf.
A nautical net on the wall.
The lamp is part of a diving apparatus.
Logan's light switch.
Logan's bed is a trundle bed and it makes two twin beds. We are very comfortable "Under the Sea"
The pups watching me are Jojo and our pup Cheri'.
This is Logan now.
Logan is an outstanding student and was 4th in his HS class of over 400 seniors with a perfect unweighted 4.0 He never had less than an 'A' since kindergarten. He is now a sophomore at UF and maintaining his high average. Engineering is his major. He will be an officer in the Air Force when he graduates.
He was in ROTC in HS and he was the outstanding ROTC Cadet in the ROTC program. He received a 'full' ROTC Scholastic Scholarship to the University of Florida. Logan is standing with his Air Force superiors. (not sure of their rank)
Please forgive me for taking a grandmother's bragging rights. We are so proud of Logan.
Happy Blue Monday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
PS: Do you think Logan's "under the Sea" bedroom should be updated? Big grandma smile here.
Wow, Jeanne, what a beautiful "under the sea" bedroom--your son-in-law is indeed a very talented artist! Congratulations to Logan on all his achievements! Is he in the Air Force Academy here in Colorado or in an air force program at the U of Florida? He is a fine young man and you have every right to be proud of him. God bless him in his service to our country!

Such beautiful artwork in this bedroom. So creative. And you have every right to be so proud of Logan's many achievements. I'd be sharing too.

Don't blame you for bragging about Logan AND your talented son-in-law. Might be time to update, but it would be a shame to undo all that beautiful artwork.

Great wall art and decorations in Logan's room, Jeanne. And of course you are right to be proud and to brag!
Wishing you all the best for the new week ahead. Thanks for hosting.

Hi Jeanne, oh my, do you have bragging rights! Wow! A superb young man! I did love that under the sea bedroom theme but he is one sweetheart of a grandson! I know how very proud of him you must be! I smiled because he was a sea child and now a high flyer. Just a silly thought I had, but what a career he will have. God bless him and God Bless you too. Such a beautiful share. Have a great week and enjoy that beautiful phamily of yours. Joyful, Anne
