Have you ever seen a farm that has a lot of fun in their hay field after harvest like this?
Here we go...
As a child I lived on a farm...my fondest memories was playing in the hay barn with hay bales that were not shaped like these. We played house and king of the mountain etc. I could not have imagined anything like this.
What a great sense of fun.
Happy Blue Monday
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Very fun and whimsical hay bales, Jeanne! Obviously farmers and rancehers who like to have fun!

I've never seen any hay "creations" as cute as these! What imagination folks have.
Thanks for hosting and have a nice Monday.

What a great fun they've made of hay making, Jeanne! I think it's so important for people to have a sense of humour and try and have fun even in periods of time where there is lots of work to be done and much to prepare for the long Winter months ahead.
Some photos from the Melbourne Polish Festival, which happened yesterday here in our City.

Hey, your post today is great! Love the farmers designs, is that called thinking outside the hay box! Sorry I haven't been around for a while, we're busy packing up to leave Australia but we've had visitors so not all work!
Have a lovely week Jeanne.

Hay!!! Now I've never seen the likes of hay like that. I always thought it would be fun to play in a haystack - sliding down - or sleeping on a mattress of hay such as Heidi did in her grandfather's cabin. But the reality is now, NO, I don't think so. Have a great week.

I'd love to be the next-door neighbor to that farmer who builds castles out of hay bales!

Hi Jeanne, what brilliant fun! There are quite a few place in the UK that do mazes using hay bales and a few farms near Stonehenge are known to create their own hay bale versions :-)
I may not get time to post over the next few weeks but I will try my best! It's all explained in today's post.
Have a great week,
Sarah
