CHRISTMAS AND DECORATING
Getting ready for Christmas by making our home cheerful and welcoming.
This is a labor of love.
Our fireplace
I made the Christmas quilt and the stockings are also handmade and given to us by our daughter-in-law several years ago. Sadly, she passed away at 42 of cancer, so the stockings are a treasure beyond words.
The small stocking says "dogs love Christmas too."
Our poodle Cheri'
She is our little girl and believe me, she thinks she is human. Lol.
HAPPY BLUE MONDAY
Blessings and love,
JEANNE
Such festive and sweet Christmas decorations, Jeanne! I did not know you lost a daughter-in-law so young--my deepest sympathy for your family's loss. The stockings she made are beautiful treasures. Your poodle Cheri is so cute!

So sorry to hear that you lost your daughter-in-law when she was so young. Those stockings must be very precious to you indeed. Thanks for sharing them—and for featuring the adorable Cheri too.

A person only truly dies when we forget them. Be well and remember the happy times you had with your daughter-in-law, Jeanne.
I can't believe it's less than 3 weeks to Christmas! Better start preparing...

Jeanne, Irving Berlin once said “The song is ended but the melody lingers on…” Thanks for sharing. May you and your family be blessed during this joyous season.

Jeanne, remember you can use ANY photo that you posted IN THIS POST,
as long as you link up in a different post, so it's not connected to Blue MOnday(am afraid, I haven't made myself clear, when I talked to you about this?)
Sorry to hear about nature's rage! Hope there's not too much damage:( Keep safe!

The best things ever is what someone takes the time to personally make. You have some great treasures and memories. Your home is so pretty. I am sure Santa will enjoy his stop there.

Thank you Jeanne for Blue Monday - I am late ! My blog was 'frozen/said domain was available' and I thought 'gone' by Blogger. It took me 3 days to get a contact with them and the help I was given solved the problem - my MC was 'out of date' and didn't auto-pay for the next year for having a .com with them. Such a relief to see my blog back again. Happy Blue Monday.
