INTERNET IS STILL A PROBLEM
I am very sad to tell you we still do not have internet in the remote mountains where we live. The tower was destroyed by a bad storm with high winds approximately three weeks ago. My nephew lives on the top of the highest mountain around here and he lives a mile away from us. Our internet gives him free service because they use his property for the internet tower. At this time they are still building the new tower. Sigh!!!
At this moment we are in the local library and connected to their service. Unfortunately the library is 18 miles from where we live. Not at all convenient. I am posting a Blue Monday post with the hope that by Monday our service will be up and running.
If you do not see the link at the bottom of my page we still do not have a connection.

Happy New Year, Jeanne! I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your internet still. I think it is only when we lose the internet, it's then we realise how essential it has become in our lives...

It's been a long time since I've lived in a remote area with "iffy" Internet, Jeanne, but I can imagine your frustrations. Thank you so much for preparing this post at this library well in advance, so that we can all share our blues today. Happy New Year to you!

Jeanne, technology is great when it works, but a bummer when it does not. Trust your service will be restored soon. In the meantime may you and your family enjoy the new year and its blessings.
